Custom Kitchen Furniture in Klaipėda

We design and manufacture custom kitchen furniture in our Klaipėda workshop and install it throughout Lithuania. Each kitchen is made to the room dimensions, the appliances and the materials you choose – from the first measurement to installation.

Custom kitchen furniture – kitchen with island and integrated appliances, Estubos Baldai
Light fronts, an island with integrated appliances and a dining area.

What we make

Each kitchen is designed for one specific room rather than assembled from standard modules. We make:

  • base and wall cabinets with the hardware you choose (drawer systems, soft-close hinges, lift-up doors);
  • tall units for ovens, refrigerators and storage;
  • islands and breakfast bars;
  • worktops in quartz, natural stone, Corian, compact HPL, laminate or solid wood;
  • splashback panels between the worktop and wall cabinets;
  • integrated lighting, plinths, ventilation grilles and appliance housings.

Kitchen fronts are made from painted MDF, veneer, solid wood (oak, ash, walnut), laminated board or HPL; handles, profiles and metal details from black steel, stainless steel, brass or aluminium. All materials are chosen together with you, according to the interior design and budget.

How we work

1. Enquiry and requirements

Send us the floor plan, dimensions or photos of the room and tell us which appliances you plan to use. If you have an interior designer's project, we work from it; if not, we propose the layout ourselves.

2. On-site measurement

In Klaipėda and the surrounding area we come to measure the room. Exact dimensions prevent gaps, clashes with services and repeated adjustments.

3. Drawings and quotation

We prepare the drawings, agree materials, colours and hardware, and give you a final price and lead time. Decisions can still be changed until production starts.

4. Production

We make the furniture in our workshop at Mainų g. 15, Klaipėda. Production time depends on the complexity of the kitchen and the materials; the exact date is stated in the quotation.

5. Delivery and installation

We deliver and install the kitchen ourselves: doors and drawers are adjusted, worktops joined and appliances fitted into their housings.

When a custom kitchen makes sense

A made-to-order kitchen is the right choice when:

  • the room has an irregular shape, niches, sloping ceilings or uneven walls;
  • you need an exact fit around appliances and services;
  • the interior project specifies materials, colours or design details that catalogue kitchens don't offer;
  • the kitchen has to match living-room, dining or hallway furniture – we make those too (see custom cabinet furniture);
  • the kitchen is part of a commercial space – a café, office or hotel apartment (see furniture for commercial spaces).

Materials and finishes

We work with materials for both classic and minimalist kitchens:

  • Fronts: painted MDF (matt, gloss, textured), natural veneer, solid wood, laminated board, HPL.
  • Worktops: quartz, natural stone, Corian, compact HPL, laminate, solid oak or ash.
  • Metal details: black steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, aged-metal finishes.
  • Glass: clear, tinted or mirrored glass for display doors and splashbacks.
  • Hardware: soft-close drawer and hinge systems, internal drawer organisers, lift mechanisms.

Kitchen layouts

We choose the layout according to the room shape, window and door positions, services, and how many people cook at the same time.

  • Single-wall kitchen – for narrow rooms and studios; the fridge, sink and hob must be placed so that worktop space remains between them.
  • Galley (two-wall) kitchen – plenty of storage; suits elongated rooms with a walkway of at least 120 cm.
  • L-shaped kitchen – the most common choice in apartments; the corner is used with carousels, "magic corner" units or deep drawers.
  • U-shaped kitchen – the most worktop and cabinet space; for larger rooms and houses.
  • Kitchen with an island or peninsula – the island can be a work zone, a breakfast bar or the hob position; electrical and, if needed, water outlets in the floor must be planned.

Wall cabinets can be replaced by tall units or open shelves, or omitted entirely, depending on how much storage you need and the interior design.

Worktops

  • Quartz – scratch- and stain-resistant, maintenance-free, wide colour range; dislikes very high heat.
  • Natural stone (granite, marble) – unique pattern; marble is sensitive to acids and stains, granite is tougher. Needs periodic sealing.
  • Corian (acrylic solid surface) – seamless joints, integrated sinks possible, scratches can be sanded out. More heat-sensitive than quartz.
  • Compact HPL – thin (12 mm), moisture- and impact-resistant, suits contemporary design; limited thickness and edge options.
  • Laminate – the most economical option with many decors; sensitive to water at the joints.
  • Solid wood – warm, natural surface; needs oiling and protection from prolonged contact with water.

Hardware and storage

Hardware determines how the kitchen works day to day. As standard we offer soft-close, full-extension drawer systems, hinges with integrated dampers and lift mechanisms for wall units. Inside: cutlery and spice inserts, deep pan drawers with high sides, corner carousels, tall pull-out larders, waste-sorting bins under the sink, push-to-open systems or integrated handle profiles.

Before you enquire

  • Measure each wall separately at floor level and at 90 cm – walls are rarely parallel.
  • Mark window and door positions, sill heights and radiators.
  • Note the water, drainage, gas and electrical outlets (or send photos).
  • List the appliances with model numbers – built-in ovens, hobs, fridges and dishwashers have different housing dimensions.
  • If the kitchen is still being designed, send the architect's plan – services can be adapted to the furniture rather than the other way round.

Kitchen furniture care

Clean painted MDF fronts with a soft damp cloth and neutral cleaners, without abrasives. Protect veneer and solid wood from prolonged moisture and oil solid-wood worktops periodically. Clean stone and quartz with pH-neutral products. Check door and drawer adjustment once a year – we do this too if needed.

Locations

Our workshop is in Klaipėda, so most kitchens are installed in Klaipėda, Palanga, Kretinga, Gargždai and the Klaipėda district. We also make kitchens for clients in Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai and other Lithuanian cities. Completed work is shown under private projects.

Frequently asked questions

How much does custom kitchen furniture cost?

The price depends on the size of the kitchen, the front material, the worktop and the hardware. We give a preliminary quote from your room dimensions and wishes, and a final price after measurement and approval of the drawings.

How long does it take to make a kitchen?

Lead time depends on the complexity of the set and material supply. The exact production and installation date is stated in the quotation before production starts.

Can you build a kitchen from a designer's project?

Yes. We often work from interior designers' drawings and visualisations. If you don't have a project, we prepare the layout and drawings ourselves.

Do you install appliances?

We fit appliances into their housings and adapt the furniture to their dimensions. Electrical and plumbing connections are made by the relevant specialists.

Do you only make kitchens in Klaipėda?

No. Production is in Klaipėda, but we deliver and install kitchens throughout Lithuania.
